"Classical" digital EEG systems Neuron-Spectrum-4, 3, 2
are the "golden mean" of our device family for bioelectric brain
activity study. They combine the multifunctionality, usability
and moderate prices.

Techniques

EEG recording. Impedance measurement mode (control of
electrode setting quality).
For each electrode, including ground one, impedance value (electrical
resistance between electrode and skin) is shown in the list
and is marked by the color on the scheme. Red color
indicates high impedance (the electrode is set bad), yellow
is the middle one (the electrode is set satisfactory), green
is the low one (the electrode is set well). |
EEG recording. Stimulators programming.
Neuron-Spectrum
EEG photic and auditory stimulators can operate both in
manual and program modes. In the program mode they are
controlled by stimulation commands and pauses (EEG recording
without stimulation). The commands define the parameters of
stimulation (frequency, intensity, volume, duration). |
Creation and editing of EEG montages.
EEG can be displayed in any montage chosen by the user (monopolar,
bipolar and mixed). With the help of this mode it is
possible to create arbitrary montages. It can be used for
changing of EEG traces displaying in the process of
recording and reviewing. |
Split screen mode allows viewing two EEG fragments
simultaneously (for example two different functional tests).
This mode is very useful for visual comparison of different
EEG fragments both in process of recording and reviewing. |
Amplitude analysis of EEG fragment.
The left marker is set at the beginning of the analyzed
fragment. From this point of time the amplitude topographic
brain maps are depicted in every 0.05 seconds (the interval
is set by the user). 25 maps are displayed simultaneously.
The amplitude can be measured from the isoline or the
reference point. |
Spectral analysis of EEG fragment.
The spectral analysis with the use of Fast Fourier Transform
is carried out in the marked EEG fragment. In the analysis
window, graphs of spectrum power for each derivation are
displayed. The standard EEG frequency ranges (delta, theta,
alpha and beta) are marked by the different colors. |
Preview of EEG fragment before printing.
EEG can be printed on the jet or laser printer using the
plain paper. |
Results of epileptiform activity analysis (automatic search
of spikes and sharp waves).
Epiactivity analysis can be conducted in a whole record,
separate functional test or EEG fragment. The fragments with
detected spikes and sharp waves are marked by the color. In
the result window tables and epiactivity brain maps are
shown. |
EEG analysis results are displayed as brain maps and bar
charts.
Neuron-Spectrum
software allows carrying out of amplitude, spectral,
periodometrical, correlative, and coherent EEG analysis. The
analysis results can be represented as tables, graphs, bar
charts or brain maps. |
EEG coherent analysis results.
To the left are the coherency maps, and to the right are the
coherency function graphs for each derivation pair. By
moving the marker, user can specify the instantaneous
frequency value. Before the coherent analysis the user is
offered to choose the derivation pairs between which the
coherency parameters will be calculated. The lines color on
the maps is defined by the values of one of the coherency
parameters (user selected). The closer is the color of line
to the red one, the higher is the value of the corresponding
parameter (the higher is the coherency). As the parameters,
the value of the coherency on the instantaneous frequency
(in the point ticked by the marker) or in the frequency
ranges can serve. As a frequency range it is possible to
choose either one of the standard ranges (delta, teta, alpha
and beta) or total range of EEG. |
EEG checkup report.
In Neuron-Spectrum software the report is generated
automatically basing on the results of EEG mathematical
analysis. The report can be edited in the built-in or MS
Word editor. The report contains the textual description
of background EEG and the description of functional tests
responses. If it is necessary, it can be supplemented with
EEG fragments, tables, graphs and brain maps. |
Review and analysis of multi-channel EP.
The software module Neuron-Spectrum-LEP allows
providing the recording and analysis of visual (flash and
reversal pattern), auditory and cognitive (Р300, MNM, CNV)
long-latency evoked potentials with their brain mapping. To
the right the averaged EP with the set component markers are
displayed. To the left the brain maps of EP amplitude for
each EP component are represented. |
